Rugby: Jersey v Doncaster 13 April 2013

There will be duplicate route 9 buses to the Rugby in operation on Saturday 13 April for one of the biggest matches in Jersey's history as the club entertain Doncaster Knights in a pivotal fixture in the RFU Championship.

The buses will leave at the same scheduled times as on the LibertyBus timetable, but there will be additional capacity on the route to and from the game. In addition to the route 9, the route 15 travels to the Mermaid where Rugby fans can hop off and take a short walk down the road to the Rugby Club.

Rugby special fare: Should you need to get 2 buses to get to the Rugby Club e.g. the route 1 from Gorey Pier, change over at Liberation Station, and then board the route 9 to the Rugby Club, please ask our driver at your starting point for our Rugby Special ticket. The through-ticket enables you to travel to Liberation Station by bus, where you can connect to the route 9 for just £2 to the Rugby Club. Please remember to hold on to your ticket when you get off the first bus to change on to your second bus! Please note that the £2 fare only applies to the journeys to the Rugby Club. Should you wish to travel on two buses home from the Rugby, another £2 Rugby Special fare will apply.

Jersey players and officials will be in St Helier at lunchtime on Thursday & Friday to promote this weekend's crucial RFU Championship encounter with Doncaster Knights.

The rugby club will have a stall at the junction of King St precinct and Don St, handing out flyers and holding a free prize draw for a pair of tickets to the match every half-hour from 12noon to 2pm.

There is a sale at the club shop at St Peter running from Thursday to Sunday inclusive. There will be a 10% discount for members and a number of other special offers. Opening hours are Thursday & Friday 9am- 2pm, match-day from 12noon to 5.45pm, and Sunday 9am to 12noon.

Ticket sales are outstripping any of Jersey's previous league matches this season, with extra stocks delivered to outlets overnight to meet demand.
