LibertyBus today announces an amended timetable for Route 15 which will come into effect on 14 January. The change is necessary to address the issues on the route that have been causing delays to customers. The changes to the timetable do not affect the 20 minute frequency of the route.
The changes now allow for the extra time that buses are taking to travel the route between the airport and Le Marais during peak times. Copies of the new route 15 timetable will be available from Liberation station at the weekend, at the LibertyBus website and on route 15 buses from Monday.
Kevin Hart, general manager of LibertyBus said; “The original timetable for route 15 was based on analysis that we performed in advance. Unfortunately, when we commenced operating the route we found that the time the buses were taking to travel between the airport and Le Marais at peak hours was more than we had scheduled. The issue has caused significant delays on the route throughout the day and further knock on effects to other services. We have listened to the feedback from our customers and have addressed the issues raised.
We are also confident that the electronic departure boards at Liberation station will go live tomorrow and for the LibertyBus website to restore its full route planning and timetabling functions on Monday morning in time for the introduction of the new route 15 timetable.
We’d like to apologise to the travelling public for the inconvenience that this has caused and to thank everyone for their patience whilst we have been ironing out these initial service gremlins.”
The team at LibertyBus will be happy to answer any queries or receive feedback that the public may have about the new timetable or the service in general. This can be arranged by calling or emailing our team (828555 or firstname.lastname@example.org).
