From midday, 20 August, Gorey Pier will be closed off to all traffic for the Gorey Fete (Thursday 21 August). Therefore, please find below route diversion information:
Wednesday 20 August 12pm - 6pm:
Route 1, 1A and 2 will continue to Gorey Pier. Routes 1, 1A and 2 will travel through Gorey Village to get to the Pier until 6pm (inbound journey as normal). All bus stops towards Gorey Pier in-between Gorey Pier and Beach Road will not be served during this time. All buses departing Gorey Pier towards town will travel along the normal route.
Route 13 no access to Gorey Pier from 12pm. The bus will turn right at Ransoms and continue to St Martin.
Wednesday 20 August 6pm, all day Thursday 21 August, until 5am Friday morning:
Routes 1 and 1A to go as far as Gorey Village/Beach Road
Route 2 terminating at Gorey Village, and not travelling to St Catherines, but again is to turn at the village/Beach Road.
Route 13 no access to Gorey Pier, turns left at Ransoms to continue to St Martin’s Public Hall
Please expect delays, especially in the evening due to road closures and diversions.
All buses as normal on Friday.
