Online top-up function restored to normal
On Monday 18th and Tuesday 19th March, some of our customers were experiencing difficulty accessing their online AvanchiCard accounts. We would like to apologise for this inconvenience and can confirm that our Internet Service Provider (ISP) has now fixed the problem.
The issue lay with the Internet Service Provider's DNS, which meant that customers using the same ISP as LibertyBus, could not access their online AvanchiCard accounts.
We were contacted by our ISP around 9.30pm on the evening on Tuesday 18 March, and informed that a small piece of equipment that they were using had failed. They assured us that their team had been working to fix the problem as soon as it was highlighted to them.
Although this rare event was out of our control, we would like apologise to all of our customers who experienced difficulty in accessing their online accounts during this time. We would also like to thank them for their patience whilst the matter was being resolved.
